Miami Beach, FL. October 24, 2024 – Untitled Art, Miami Beach announces an ambitious array of new and returning prizes and partnerships for its 2024 edition. This year’s theme, “East Meets West,” underscores a commitment to a global perspective, celebrating diverse cultural voices from around the globe. In line with the fair’s ongoing mission to offer support across all aspects of the art market, these partnerships put artists at the forefront, providing opportunities to expand their practice through impactful prizes and residency programs worldwide.

For the 13th edition, Untitled Art will award a total of seven prizes, underscoring its dedication to supporting exhibitors and their artists. Returning Official Partners include Resy, Delta Air Lines, and American Express® alongside Chase Private Client, INFINITI, Champagne Pommery, and By Michael Miller. Vortic returns as a Digital and Prize Partner, presenting a curated digital exhibition that builds upon this year’s curatorial theme. Additional Prize Partners include 21c Museum Hotels, CCA Andratx, and long-standing collaborator Fountainhead Residency, alongside the return of The Last Resort Artist Retreat and first-time Prize Partners CAMPO and the Pardon Collection. This edition underscores Untitled Art’s commitment to global artistic exchange, offering artist-centric prizes, immersive residencies, and innovative collaborations with the fair’s partners that bridge cultural and geographical boundaries, fostering connections within the international art market and community.

2024 Prize Partners:

The Vortic Artist Prize | For its third year as our Digital Partner, Vortic presents a curated digital exhibition featuring artists exhibiting at Untitled Art, curated by the fair’s 2024 Guest Curators Kathy Huang and Jungmin Cho. Showcasing highlights from this year’s edition displayed across two virtual rooms, the exhibition will be available for viewing on both Vortic and Untitled Art's platforms. The debut Vortic Artist Prize will award three artists from the exhibition whose practice explores the digital space and its potential for the creation and display of art.The ongoing partnership between Vortic and Untitled Art aims to establish leadership in the hybrid physical and virtual art fair space, creating innovative opportunities to engage with global audiences.

New: CAMPO Artist-in-Residence Prize | CAMPO joins Untitled Art for the first time with the introduction of the CAMPO Artist-in-Residence Prize, offering one exhibiting artist a unique residency experience in the Uruguayan countryside in December 2024. Awarded this year to Hajin Lee (presented by Project K, Seoul, Korea), the prize includes travel expenses, accommodations, and studio space for a three-week stay in Pueblo Garzón, along with a $1,000 artist stipend and a $1,000 production stipend. The residency coincides with CAMPO ArtFest, the foundation’s annual three-day festival from December 28-30, which showcases over 20 international and local artists. CAMPO is a creative institute dedicated to supporting artists as changemakers by offering transformative experiences through a variety of innovative programs.


Last Resort Artist Retreat Residency Prize | Returning after a year hiatus, the Last Resort Artist Retreat Residency Prize will be awarded to one exhibiting artist. Founded by multidisciplinary artist and Baltimore native, Derrick Adams, The Last Resort Artist Retreat residency embraces the concept of leisure as therapy for Black creatives, providing a space and curated experiences designed to foster rejuvenation. Set on a one-acre private residence in Baltimore, Maryland, the prize covers travel expenses, accommodation, and a $1,000 stipend for the recipient. Additionally, it offers access to arts and culture programming and networking opportunities during the one-month residency in the Summer of 2025. 


CCA Andratx Artist-in-Residence Prize | CCA Andratx returns to Untitled Art, Miami Beach with its Artist-in-Residence Prize, providing an exhibiting artist a unique residency opportunity at its renowned facility in Mallorca, Spain in May 2025. This award includes travel costs and accommodation for the selected artist. As one of the largest contemporary art centers in the Balearic Islands, CCA Andratx places emphasis on fostering artistic development through its Artist-in-Residence program. Each month, the center hosts four international artists, contributing to a vibrant exchange of ideas and creativity, with over 700 artists from 20 countries having participated in the program over the past 21 years.


Fountainhead Residency Artist Prize | As a partner since the fair’s inception, Fountainhead Residency, the nationally recognized artist residency program in Miami, presents the Fountainhead Residency Artist Prize. Aligned with the fair’s curatorial theme of “East Meets West”, the prize will be awarded to two exhibiting artists, Octavio Abundez (presented by CURRO, Guadalajara, Mexico) and Christiane Peschek (presented by SANATORIUM, Istanbul, Turkey) for one-month residencies in September and November 2024. The award encompasses living and working accommodations, round-trip airfare, stipends, and a comprehensive career development program.

21c Museum Hotels Acquisition Prize | In its third year as a Prize Partner of Untitled Art, 21c Museum Hotels – one of the largest contemporary art museums in the United States and North America’s only collecting museum dedicated solely to art of the 21st Century – resumes is 21c Museum Hotels Acquisition Prize, which will acquire up to three works from galleries exhibiting at the 13th edition of Untitled Art. Aligned with this year’s curatorial theme of “East Meets West,” the jury selection process will be guided by Untitled Art’s curatorial team, with final selection by the institution’s founders, philanthropists, and collectors, Laura Lee Brown and Steve Wilson, alongside 21c’s Chief Curator, Alice Gray Stites.

Pardon Collection Acquisition Prize | First-time Prize Partner at Untitled Art, The Pardon Collection Acquisition Prize is an acquisition award that recognizes artists who are reshaping the contemporary art landscape. Awarded by the Pardon Collection, the prize honors an artist’s dedication to pushing the boundaries in their practice. The prize will be awarded to acquire up to two works from exhibiting artists at the 13th edition within the curatorial framework of this year's theme, “East Meets West.”

The collection features conceptually grounded works by emerging and established artists whose unique perceptions offer new ways of seeing the world. One central theme of the collection is a focus on methods of appropriation, from the archival practices of lens-based artists to those who take minimalist approaches using nontraditional materials.


2024 Official Partners:

Resy, in partnership with Delta Air Lines and American Express® , has returned to Untitled Art as an Official Partner. Delta Air Lines and American Express® present The Resy Lounge; a beach- front daytime lounge, offering guests a space to relax and enjoy complimentary food and beverages from the Jon & Vinny’s Team.


INFINITI will make its debut at Untitled Art, unveiling an exclusive collaboration with Mexican artist Amor Muñoz (presented by bitforms gallery, New York, NY), titled “Art of the Senses.” The interactive art installation explores the intersection of textile design and technology, creating immersive sensorial experiences that allow visitors to interact with their new 2025 INFINITI models.


Champagne Pommery returns as a partner of Untitled Art for the fourth consecutive year. In addition to champagne flowing all week from dedicated Champagne Pommery bars throughout the fair, Pommery will serve their signature Cuvée Apanage 1874 to guests on December 3rd. This special cuvée, dedicated to the culinary arts, celebrates the 150th anniversary of the creation of the first Brut.
